Eddie Jones
Eddie holds a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Reverse Logistics Management from the only program of its kind in the U.S., and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He has spent over a decade applying that expertise inside Fortune 500 supply chains and military logistics operations.
He founded Vertistics to give e-commerce and retail brands access to the same strategic thinking large enterprises use to turn returns from a cost center into a competitive advantage.

What Is Reverse Logistics?
Forward logistics moves products from a warehouse to a customer. Reverse logistics handles everything that flows back: returns, exchanges, repairs, recalls, and end-of-life disposal.
Why It Matters
U.S. retailers lose over $890 billion annually to product returns. E-commerce return rates average 20-30%, and processing them can consume 8-15% of total revenue.
What Vertistics Does
We build the strategy, systems, and processes that turn returns from a cost center into a competitive advantage, more value recovered, less waste, better customer experiences.
Why Vertistics exists.
To pioneer the era of executive-led reverse logistics, where returns strategy is owned at the top, optimized end-to-end, and measured like any other critical business function.
To equip brands with the strategic expertise, technology, and operational design needed to turn returns into recovered revenue, lower operating costs, and measurable margin gains.
A career built on the reverse flow.
Eddie Jones began his career with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, building a foundation in operations, finance, and strategy that would shape every step of his professional path. He served for more than a decade as a logistics officer in the U.S. Army National Guard, commanding complex supply chain operations under the kind of high-pressure conditions where inefficiency simply is not an option.
That military discipline carried into the private sector, where Eddie spent years inside Fortune 500 supply chains at Amazon, Volvo, Floor and Decor, and Cintas. Working across manufacturing, retail, distribution, and service organizations gave him a rare cross-industry view of how goods, information, and value actually move, and where they are lost.
He continued to invest in the craft, earning a Master of Business Administration in Global Business Management and later becoming a Certified Business Management Consultant. He then completed a Master of Reverse Logistics Management, the only specialized graduate program of its kind in the United States, cementing reverse logistics as his singular professional focus.
Eddie founded Vertistics, a consultancy built entirely around the discipline of reverse logistics, created to give e-commerce and retail brands access to the same strategic thinking the largest enterprises use to turn returns from a cost center into a competitive advantage.
Built for operators who need answers, not slide decks.
Vertistics exists because reverse logistics is treated as an afterthought at most firms. We treat it as the discipline it is, applying academic rigor and Fortune 500 operating experience to problems others avoid.
